Piotr Latoszyński

Born in Warsaw in 1981, he graduated with First Class Honours from the Music Academy in Lodz, where he studied piano with Prof. Tadeusz Chmielewski, the Robert Schumann Hochschule für Musik in Düsseldorf (Konzertexamen), and the Music Academy in Cracow, where he completed Prof. Wieslaw Piekos's postgraduate course.

He has attended master classes run by outstanding pedagogues - Hiroko Nakamura, Arie Vardi, Rudolf Buchbinder, Kevin Kenner, Yvonne Lee, and Jerome Lowenthal in Japan (Hamamatsu International Piano Academy), the United States (Music Academy of the West Santa Barbara, CA), Switzerland (Meisterkurs für Musik in Zurich), Poland (International Piano Course in Cracow), and Germany (Konzertarbeitswochen in Goslar and Internationaler Meisterkurs für Pianisten in Darmstadt).

The pianist has been a prize winner in many local and international piano competitions, including The Polish National Chopin Competition in Warsaw, The International Chamber Music Competition in Lodz, The International Chopin Competition in Marianske Lazne, and the Milosz Magin Competition in Paris.

Piotr Latoszynski participated in international music festivals in Marianske Lazne (Czech Republic), Nohant (France), and Ruhr Klavierfestival (Germany), to mention a few.

His international career has taken him to critically acclaimed concert venues in Europe, Asia, and North America.

He often performs in venues connected with Chopin.
